The theme of the X edition will be Bridging Social and Business Innovation.
In the last decades the concept of social innovation has been growing attention, above all thanks to an important work of theoretical and empirical research.
Despite the progress made in terms of understanding the development trajectories, potentials, limits and business models, it is necessary afurther elaborative effort to reposition - and legitimize - the concept of social innovation within the broader "classic" research framework. of innovation . The literature on the latter, in fact, has focused mainly on the evolution of technological innovation, as well as in general on the topic of business innovation.
The purpose of the X ISIRC conference is precisely to stimulate contributions - theoretical, empirical and policy - that link the reflections on social innovation and business innovation .
The first release of the call for paper & panels is available here and will remain open until March 30, 2018.
